During an initial visit, a patient can expect to discuss their current symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment alternatives. Information regarding physical health and lifestyle may also be collected. We assess the individual holistically, rather than focusing solely on their symptoms. At the conclusion of the appointment, there will be a collaborative discussion about potential treatment options, which may include referrals to other professionals, lifestyle modifications, and various collaborative strategies. Patients will be given time to ask about treatment alternatives or share any concerns. Initial visits typically last 60 to 80 minutes, while follow-up sessions range from 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the patient’s needs.
